On top, there is La Molata\u2019s path, one of the most beautiful of the Reserve. In these cliffs, you can track the disintegration of the rock, a photograph from a geological movie. The valley is an ancient volcanic caldera and from its mountain range was extracted the gold that made this place shine and placed it on the map as an important strategic location of the time.<br \/>\nThe gold ran out and time\u00a0 transformed the clean, desert montain range, touching the crystal-clear waters into gold itself; one that didn\u2019t need explosions.<br \/>\nAfter El Playazo, the landscape changes again and the dark textured rock reappears, sometimes crystalline and sometimes amorphous and in places whitish coloured. And we find ourselves again under the shadow of more than 200 metres of steep cliffs on which we can see deep crevices where the hydrothermal waters ran and geological gargoyles were shaped by the wind. All\u00ed hab\u00eda m\u00e1s gente viviendo que en Las Negras. Los dos enclaves eran de pescadores pero en Las Negras no hab\u00eda casi nadie. En San Pedro viv\u00edan m\u00e1s familias de la pesca y de lo que cultivaban en los peque\u00f1os huertos que all\u00ed hab\u00eda, regados por su manantial de agua dulce que todav\u00eda hoy subsiste. Cuando se produjo el desastre de los naufragios las viudas de los pescadores se trasladaron a Las Negras. Todas iban de negro y pa\u00f1uelos negros. La gente que pasaba en barco, y los pocos que iban all\u00ed desde el interior, ve\u00edan mujeres de negro y empezaron a llamar al lugar la zona de &#8220;Las Negras&#8221;, por esas viudas que all\u00ed se ve\u00edan vestidas de esa manera&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Aunque no hemos encontrado registro escrito, la historia de Juli\u00e1n parece mas veraz ya que en San Pedro tenemos uno de los puntos de agua dulce que facilitar\u00eda el asentamiento de la poblaci\u00f3n. Aprovecho para recomendar la asociaci\u00f3n el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cabodegata.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eco del Parque<\/a> que desde hace muchos a\u00f1os realiza una divulgaci\u00f3n y defensa de los valores del Parque, recomiendo echarle un vistazo a su revista.
